The Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada, have a history in the mining industry. This project serves as an introductory glimpse into the remaining contemporary landscapes of three of these sites in Black Lake, Eustis, and Stanstead, where the land has either been mined like what is found at Black Lake, reclaimed like what is seen at Eustis or, in the case of Stanstead, a public art installation made from local granite which is mined close to the site.
